'Shcool' Zone: Central Mass Town Promises To Fix Misspelled Street Sign

A contractor may have needed to spend more time in "shcool" after they inadvertently misspelled school on a giant road sign in Worcester County.

A maintenance worker misspelled the word "shcool" on Holden Road in Holden two weeks ago. Town officials said they plan to fix it as soon as the weather improves.

Holden officials said the mistake happened two weeks ago on Holden Road near Mountainview School. They hope to fix it when the weather improves. That will likely be a few days, they said.

The town released a statement on Facebook to let people know they're aware of the mistake and to thank people for their "contributions."
